Falcons Start Fast Finish Strong!

The Florida Falcons traveled to Thomasville, Georgia Saturday night to take on the #3 ranked Georgia Cobras at Memorial Stadium. The Falcons jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and took a 14-2 lead into halftime.

The Cobras scored early in the 3rd quarter set up by blocked punt and the again late in the 4th quarter due to a strip sack to take the lead 15-14 late in the 4th. The Falcons would drive deep into Cobras territory aided by some defensive penalties and on the legs of running back Anthony Brown. Falcons kicker Christian Bartley would drill the game winning 42 yard field with 36 seconds left to propel the Falcons to 4-1 on the season.

Next up the #2 ranked Georgia Thrashers (6-0) in Duluth, Georgia at 6:30pm.
