Falcons Win Semi-final playoff game in OT

The Florida Falcons traveled to Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday, July 25th to play the Palmetto Hurricanes in the 2020 IAFL Semi-final playoffs. The game was a back and forth battle all night with the Hurricanes leading late 8-0, when receiver Austin Indingaro hauled in a pass and took it 33 yards for the score. Running back Javon Brown tied the game on the 2 point conversion try send the game into overtime. The game remained tied 8-8 in the first overtime and forced both teams into double OT. Palmetto received the second overtime kick and drove the ball to midfield and turning the ball over to the Falcons. Javon Brown carried the ball to the Hurricanes 42 yard line on first down. On the next play, QB Devin Johnson hit receiver Austin Indingaro who was uncovered for the winning touchdown. The Falcons will play in the Conference Championship game on August 1st against the Sumter Sharks.
