The Florida Falcons traveled to face the #2 ranked Sumter Sharks in the SC/Fla Conference Championship game on Saturday August 1st. The Falcons coming off a double overtime thriller 14-8 victory over the #9 ranked Palmetto Hurricanes were taking on a Sumter Sharks team who were the IAFL league runner up in last years league Championship game, two time conference champions and are front runners for the 2020 IAFL title. The Falcons found out quickly what a Shark attack looked like as they fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter before scoring a touchdown of their own. Sumter was too much offensively as they grounded the Falcons 56-12 and winning their third straight conference title.

"They're a very good ball club and coached very well. Coach Kennedy has built a great program and one that we have admired over the year. We ran up against a team that has been together for years and play to their strengths very well and that had a great game plan. I wish  Coach Kennedy and the Sharks well in their hunt for the 2020 IAFL title and we will now take some time off before getting back after if for the 2021 IAFL season" stated Head Coach Justin Moses
